I think when you pitty them and feel sorry for them it takes the power away from thinking you’re a victim.

@lilangel One psychology group therapy class I went to actually suggests that when someone is making your life difficult, to imagine that sometimes terrible is happening in their life that you don't know about, to explain their bad behavior. Not that it is an excuse, just an explanation.

@MySecretIdentity1 Many times that can be a reason. Not saying it's a good one, but people react different to tough situations in life.
