Why are illegal immigrants all gathered up and thrown into camps where they are treated like animals?

Why not just take them to the appropriate location where they can actually become citizens?

Speaking as someone of native descent, the foundation of our country was indeed reliant on immigrants, but you know what else it was reliant on? Slavery. Yeah, the rules change and everyone should follow them. @Harriet03
