I start talking to myself. It has 2 positive effects:
1) Verbalizing it helps me retain and process the information more efficiently since sound becomes another point of association to rely on;
2) People around me think I'm a weirdo and walk away in clear discomfort, thus eliminating the main source of distractions when I'm brainstorming.

Depends on the weight of it but if it’s pretty heavy I become rather quiet on the outside while becoming more vocal on the inside.
