There are some politically correct aholes running around loose who want to eliminate religion from ALL businesses just as was done with our public institutions.
It is a form of political activism, and I don't believe for a moment that they are genuinely offended.
They say it is in the interest of fairness, because some people are Jewish and don't celebrate Christmas, and some people are Muslim and don't celebrate Christmas, and some people are Buddhist and don't celebrate Christmas, and they say that business should respect diversity and be courteous to ALL religions by not promoting one over the other.
However, the simple fact is, that without Christmas spending by consumers, most retail business would fold.
