What usually pops up in your mind when you notice someone you don't know approaching you?

I usually think I hope they aren't coming to talk to me and then stare hard at the floor.

If they start talking to me all I can think about is how disappointed they will be with my personality after they talk to me for a bit.

That really depends. If it is a hot guy and I feel the vibe, then I feel shy, and I can't look at him or talk to him. Stupid, huh? But that is what I always do. And my personality is great. With people I know, and with whom I am comfortable, I am never, ever shy.

@TURTLEGOD About five years ago I was walking my little dog and a tall hottie was walking his dog, stopped dead, and said hello. I couldn't breathe and I couldn't think of anything except that he was too hot for me, so I just said hello very coldly and walked on.

@TURTLEGOD I am not bold...unless I am behaving in an unnatural fashion, or I have had too many drinks, or unless I know someone really well. I am just not able to be so in the natural way of things.

@4meAndyou You don't have to be bold. You just have to have confidence and believe that you are worth the things you want or the people you want in your life.
