FTLOG, bring back the sorting by TIME POSTED

@Nuno PLEASE bring back the sorting of SW post by TIME posted. I know in theory this setting exists, but as we all know, IT DOESN'T WORK. It's so frustrating logging in and see that every post is from over 3 hours ago, typically way more (just now the top posts in my feed were ONE DAY old!)... Whoever made these posts is long gone, it's like coming to a party and finding everyone left already, and we are left talking to the walls. Moreover, when refreshing, the whole order of the posts changes randomly so it's impossible to keep track of what was read and what wasn't. I thought that the point of implementing the settings was to promote engagement and conversation, but it has the opposite effect. New posts are seldom seen, and when they show up in people's feeds hours later the poster is long gone. Can you guys PLEASE bring back the classic, simple and effective, sort by time posted, and nothing else?? PLEASE PLEASE

Yes I agree. The new settings just aren't working out the way the admins said it would and we've given it months.
@Longpatrol Mine works fine, look at my settings from my own comment.

Most of the posts I see are from select users and are 3-5 days old!

This seems to be a very valid observation.

@OogieBoogie just posted about the slow feed

And I see this 2 days later .
Ironic .馃檮

And it's prolly only coz @HannahSky tagged me.

It's just getting ridiculously frustrating .
There is NO WAY in hell there are that few people on here that we can't see a new post every 5 minutes.
There are more users than ever, but less posts seeable than ever .

The math doesn't add up .

@OogieBoogie I saw it a few hours ago

Tell me about it. I just answered a question not realising it was from 2016. I think many of these sites you see questions that are days or months old.

Totally agree. I usually just get tired of finding where I was reading and just close the app.
There has to be reason behind the madness but I dont see it.

I like the top of my feed being several days old. It encourages me to log out and find something else to do 馃檮
Lol, I had a blank feed most of last night...

All very valid points. Good luck with this though.
It works by those who you follow, you have to tweak it some, these are my settings, I always get fresh posts the moment those I follow drops them.
@SooperSarah Like I said, I have been on the internet since before most of the general public was even aware it was a real thing, I have seen the evolution of social media from basic IRC and BBS forums based with Universities to SW, twitter, and facebook, when did you first go online, hmmm? Your problem is that you refuse to acknowledge that people do know more and have vast further experiences than you do.
@NativePortlander1970 You keep mentioning how long you've been online. Do you want some kind of trophy? I hate to tell you this but being older doesn't make you an expert. In fact, it seems to show you're rather out of touch with how current social media works. This is a social media site. Do you understand what that means? If I wanted to only see updates from the same people every day I'd join a group chat.
@SooperSarah It's called life experience and decades of observation, two things you are obviously completely ignorantly unaware of. Yes, I know EXACTLY what social media is, I have been using it since my early 20's decades ago. Learn. To. Read.
