I'm feeling especially lonely today.

It was worse when I was young. At your age it was unbearable and soul destroying, but when you go through so much on this journey of life, you start accepting the harsh realities of it, and somehow the acceptance makes it more bearable. I’m sorry you are lonely. @Dan193

@Carissimi Oh my. Reading this thread gave me some sort of de ja vu...must have been a dream. Yeah acceptance. I find it peaceful but in a way tragic. But I kind of know what you mean. I might be too young to understand it more deeply.

@Dan193 Talking with another human being helps, doesn't it. I don't talk to many but few refreshes my mood.

@Dan193 Yes. I've worked in aged care. Have seen couples come into the home and when one dies the other goes not long after. Same with a Brother and Sister. last of their family.

@assemblingaknob yeah. Lockdown ended a couple of days ago, but I still don't go around any of my family members, just in case.
