What have you learned that you wish you shouldn't have learned?

There is a small catfish in the Amazon River that hunts in schools. They burrow into their prey and eat the insides, leaving a hollow husk of whatever poor creature. 🤢 That grosses me out so much and when I first heard it, I threw up a bit. Will I ever need this info? No. I’m not going to the Amazon.

No matter how good you want to be at something there are always extenuating factors way beyond your control that will cause disappointment.

At some point you have to accept that or it will constantly destroy you and you'll never feel happy.

State your case as honestly as you can.
Listen to ALL advice offered, even from those who advise contrary to your wants.
Maybe they can see things you're blind to.

Take time and care for yourself.
Hard to do when you feel swamped by the needs of others.
But if you fall exhausted it's unlikely anyone will come to your rescue.
