factory style education models are based on actual factory production requirements. memorization of procedures, adherence to rules, punctuality, zero error rate, unquestioned obedience of authority. all these qualities are prized and rewarded in a society controlled by an elite class of wealthy overlords.

@Stilltryinghard I'm from that era. I grew up with napalm and body counts at the dinner table. They stopped the draft a year before I turned 18. I enlisted in the air force out of high school but never went to SE Asia. As you may have picked up on the subtle clues, I did not have a happy school experience!
