What are your dreams like?

I look more attractive in mine. In the dream I looked at my face, could tell it was different yet im working on how i see myself and my dreams seem to provide the tools for that.

I don't see myself in my dreams most of the time. They happen from my point of view. Those where I see someone else in the leading role, it's more like watching a movie but sometimes it's like I'm them because I know how they are feeling, I'm giving them my thoughts but it's not me. Once it was a little boy and part of the dream I saw the world from his point of view. But it often switches, like partly I'm just watching a movie and then I merge with the character for a while, then it's a movie separated from me again.

In dreams where I'm me, the way I perceive myself is more through my actions and my guess how I could be perceived due to emotions I feel that create certain facial expressions on my face or show in body language. When I'm confident in a dream, I feel cool. When I'm insecure, anxious and feeling lost, I feel like people see me as inept, useless or an easy prey, someone they could exploit.

I dont really have dreams just occasional nightmares. The last actual nightmare that i had. My brother died back in the 90s and several of his friends died and in the dream he called me on the phone and said, Open the door! Then the doorbell starts ringing! I go look out of the peephole he's standing there with all his dead friends behind him and they start pounding on the door! Screaming Open The Door! I'm still holding the phone and he says into the phone Blaze open the door i'm not going to hurt you! Then he screams into the phone OPEN THE FU**KING DOOR! And then i wake up!
@AngelUnforgiven oh damn, what a nightmare! was it from watching something scary maybe?

@mZ8iDC2IR5 No it was from guilt.

lately my dreams have been quite... abstract? nothing really makes sense. for example i had a dream where i was in a room with a group of people. someone was standing in front of the group, some sort of lecturer possibly. they were explaining that every few minutes, randomly, one of us will be sent to hell.

one moment a person would be in their chair and in the next they simply popped out of existence, assumingly because they've been sent to hell. when it got to my turn (after around 3 or 4 people) i ended up in this weird landscape. the sky was a mesh of pink and orange and i couldn't quite tell if i were standing on solid ground or simply floating inside this eerie expanse. all i can remember, besides what the sky looked like, was feeling a pulling sensation. like something was pulling my lower half away from my top half from inside.

my dreams are usually pretty normal, i don't often have dreams that completely confuse or disturb me all that much. but this dream felt like someone else's. i'm not sure how my brain even thought that one up. though my guess would be because of the antidepressants i've been taking.

Mine are more memories than dreams ,the things i dream have actually happend . I guess they would be called night terrors , it's all so damn real . The kid being abused in the most awful ways again and again. Some nights i just don't sleep at all . When i do sleep it takes most of the next day to snap out of the feelings .

@mZ8iDC2IR5 no worries. It's kind of like watching a theater, except in 1st person

Last night I dreamt I unwittingly attended a school of vampires. The class started my initiation with a class activity involving completely draining me of my blood
