I'm so old I remember when carnivals still featured freak shows.

EDIT: I remember my parents got a "baby bonus" from the gov't of $8 per month for me in the 1950s !!

I remember the time when TV in Australia still lay in the future - and I listened to "serials" on the "wireless".

@Gusman Er,no.My favourites back in the mid-'50s were "The Air Adventures of Hop Harrigan" and "The Sea Hound".Also "The Shadow" sounded like it would be interesting,but my parents wouldn't let me listen to that.

There were others but most likely from the 60s.
