Does this sound a bit disturbing?

My mom was watching the news and there was a story of a man who killed his wife ...they got jail time but not life sentence.
she says,
"I think of this. (Issue/subject ) If I ever killed YOU, I'd not get away with it."
I thought, Wow. I'm not thinking of if I killed someone, blah blah. That just has not ever gone through my mind. It really left me feeling very wary.
(Side note, she's been a horrible, volatile, violent presence in my life , always. Literally psychotic. But to HEAR THAT....)

So much more than a bit disturbing! I only have one thing to say about that. Why do you hang around her??? I guess you live with her?Why don't you get away from her and stay away from her? That's just sick what she said. Don't kid yourself. She knows exactly what she said and her mind is sick. We've talked about this before. Get away from her, please. I don't ever ever say that to anyone and I never have, but you need to get away from her. Please. No wonder you have PTSD so bad. She takes advantage of that. You have got to get away from her. Don't believe it. Narcissists are 100% aware!!!!! I've been with them I have studied them inside and out. They know exactly what they're doing and they even plan their shenanigans! This is no way for you to live. Why don't you get out and get away forever?
