Don't leave out the VA guy arrested by the FBI with the largest stash of home-made bombs and explosives they have ever encountered. And allegedly he had said that he was preparing for the appropriate time coming. Wonder if that was New Year's Day? And they are trying to decide if they have enough to hold him on the one charge, to date, of having an unregistered short barrel rifle?

I'm still trying to figure out the symbolism behind blowing up a (very ugly) Tesla truck right at the front door of the Trump hotel!
The perpetrator who died inside the truck was an active US military soldier who was allegedly suffering from PTSD as was the guy in Louisiana. BOTH were Trump supporters as evidenced by information the FBI got off their respective cellphones, etc.
But why blow up a Tesla truck at the entrance to the Trump Hotel?

I think neither are likely answers because neither of those answers make any logical or connective sense. Additionally, the guy in the Tesla truck was a white guy who's status was 'active' military personnel and his credentials showed him to be a registered Republican.

@swirlie Not all registered Republicans are MAGA Trumpians. The Tesla truck and Trump hotel certainly is connecting Trump & Musk symbolically. And those suffering from PTSD, or tending towards violent statements, are not all persons of color, other ethnicities and religions, or immigrant status.

The Republican Party of the USA no longer exists. What exists today is the Trump Party, which is further right than the traditional rendition of Republicanism.
Republicanism is center-right by definition and Democrats are center-left by definition.
The Trump Party represents the MAGA movement which is extreme-right conservatism who harbor an ideology of American Isolationism.
