Does anyone else experience sensory issues with alarms and power lines?

I've noticed that in certain places, I can feel/hear power lines (staticky, radio signal sound) security alarm (piercing high pitched sound). I believe I may hear at a higher than usual frequency for my age, but what about the power lines?

Yes. I can hear buzzing/humming but the lines have some sort of suppressor on them so I assume it's a known problem. The suppressor is a flat material possible metal or ceramic in the shape of a seated bird on the power line itself (it's a wildlife sanctuary so that may be for aesthetic appearance). Also since I run through that area my watch records my heart rate which raises by between 10 and 20 beats near the power line and recovers when I move away.
