A truly reflective and endearing piece. I really resonated with " exhausted by my own perception" and "...with a flawed blueprint".
I often don't date at all Bec of those two issues. They feel magnified within me like all I am is flawed. I forget others also have these feelings too sometimes.
And I don't believe this is a fantasy, it should be how a real love grows. Thank you for sharing Mortal. 🦋

Just read this twice, it's really good. I feel as though I understand it, the depth of connection you describe, but I think I'm still hanging on for the hope to be proven... despite how foolish that may be.
