Feeling frustrated

Why are you testing the object of your affection? If someone told me what you said, my only response would be "oh.. ok. Have a nice time." Yes I would miss them but my partner out of the blue just told me "later!". I'd be feeling let down and like the person didn't care about me. I think your test backfired. Why play such games?

When a guy makes a mistake, all a guy can do is wait in hope. He can wait a long time.

But if he sniffs out you are just mucking him about, he should cut his losses and move on. Life is precious, you do not have time to waste.

Having said that, if you are testing him, you risk losing him. Is it worth it?

Yeah. We all feel like that sometimes.
