Feeling frustrated

With someone i know.

I did tell a guy he wont be talking to me for 3 weeks and yes i fooled him because i was testing him. He said congrats 4 taking the time off when i am like what u wouldnt miss talking to me.

Why are you testing the object of your affection? If someone told me what you said, my only response would be "oh.. ok. Have a nice time." Yes I would miss them but my partner out of the blue just told me "later!". I'd be feeling let down and like the person didn't care about me. I think your test backfired. Why play such games?
