I Feel So Alone

Unimaginable though this might be in catering circles, there are people in existence who dislike strawberries and anything strawberry flavoured. I have never knowingly come across one, but I'm pretty sure I can't be the only one. But it's real. I can't bear the smell of strawberries, I don't like the flavour (no matter how fresh and sweet) and as for 🍓 jam and 🍓 creams - well just yeuch!

I wish people who run tea and scone establishments could get their heads around the faint possibility that raspberries and blackcurrants are much more acceptable

@goliathtree absolute nonsense! Rhubarb should be paired with ginger, or elderflower cordial - or mackerel! But there's no excuse for strawberries

I'm not a strawberry fan either or blueberries for that matter. I do like raspberries. Taste buds can be the strangest thing.

There are those who are allergic to strawberries as well as other foods. I can eat strawberries but prefer other things.

@4thdimensiondream Fields of strawberries are fine - on a cool day without much wind wafting the smell about. I've got an embroidery covered blouse that's all strawberries and I like it (as long as it doesnt give anybody ideas about what flavour jam i want.)
