When I see reports of people being beaten or cars being stolen...

it is always reported as; Allegedly.
The person was beaten, the car was stolen, the latest one I read, (background) a male threw a homemade bomb into a crowd at a rally in Perth.
Reported as; a 31-year-old man allegedly threw a homemade fragment bomb into the crowd.
There is video evidence showing him throwing the bomb, allegedly does not come into it.

There is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty in a court of law.

Given the contradictory ways in which people interpret video evidence, this is absolutely essential to prevent justice by lynch mob.

@SunshineGirl That presumption has been thrown away now, with these ICE raids, here in the USA. They are going by guilty, until proven innocent.

Heck they even take your identification away, until they have proven it's not fake. They presume even your own documentation is fake first. And only give it back if it's been proven valid.
