You can be sure that the person has means but not will to help you when he said, “There is nothing more i can do to help.”

And you can be extremely sure when person has neither means nor will to help you when said, “I am here to help,”

I have a friend who always set up boundaries with her help up front, which I greatly respect.

She will say, "please let me know how to help, except with financial or [insert other options here]."

I appreciate her honesty as it let's others know the boundaries of help offered.
