God gave us free will, so we do make choices on our own, sometimes choices that hurt us or aren’t wise.

But His love isn’t conditional on us making perfect choices. He doesn’t say, “Well, you didn’t listen, so you’re on your own now.”

Instead, even when you’re driving toward something that won’t end well emotionally, or even physically risky, He still stays beside you, quietly protecting, guiding, whispering, “Come back, beloved.”

Yes, God stays with us and is there if we ask for the benefit of His guidance.
But sometimes (often?) we proceed at our own will and our own speed and learn from the resulting "experience."
We are a species who lives to learn experiences. That's why God made us - so we can experience good and bad and make choices and improve the soul He has given us so we may prove our worth to Him by acting out the 'good' and discarding the 'bad.'
For that purpose, God has also granted us 'forgiveness for our sins' = so that we may 'try' something and realize how it can damage us and then turn back to do it 'God's way!'
I feel like this was meant for me..

@mZ8iDC2IR5 because it was honey. I want you to know that God does love you, and he is always with you.

If God knows everything, you can't have free will with predeterminism, because everything has not happened, is about to happen, is happening and has happened, all at the same time, from the point of view of a being outside of time observing time. The being that started the ride has caused all bad things to happen, and that is immoral and therefore bad.
