I faced a mass of angry bus riders...
I decided to take the bus (probably for the last time) and as I got on, literally everyone was staring me down probably angry for making the bus make a stop. The bus driver started screaming, "Are you getting on or not?" It's not like I hesitated, but if I did it was only for a second as I noticed all those angry stares. The driver instructed me like he thought I didn't know what to do, "If you are getting on, you have to go sit down; you can't stand here up-front."
So, I got off, the bus pulled away with everyone staring at me through the windows. I literally ran back home to drive to work. I arrived a little late, but except for that flat-chested woman who is literally always on my case, no one really noticed. After I got settled and started my work, she came over and asked if I had trouble getting up today with a sneer and started explaining her morning routine to me. I just raised my eyebrow without saying anything and thankfully my phone rang. I stared at her as I started talking (on the phone) and she walked away. I'm sure she will bring this up again for the drama of it that she seems to find so satisfying,
