What are your experiences with hypocritical people?

I find the more a person leans extreme left or right, or towards religious fanaticism the more Hypercritical and judgmental of other's they become.

I have always said live your life how you see best to live it, do not harm others, and make peace with whatever you believe in leaving others alone.

@WillaKissing My biggest fear is of people who want laws (which everyone must obey) established around their religious beliefs (which here, at least, are not mandatory).
