I've had reocurring dreams and some of them make me wonder if that's me in an alternate timeline. It always feels strangely familiar but then I guess they would as they're reocurring.

@Matt85 i often find myself thinking that too. in dreams it feels like i have separate memories. i can't recall my real life but it seems like i remember all my previous dreams.

Many in dreams. There's also been times in my life, while the feeling may only hold meaning for me, I remember being "young" (18/19) where I was reading a book, listening to music, escaping away from family at a cottage, absorbing myself into novels to escape. How the author described an Inn in her book, I remember driving down a winding road, overlooking an Inn? (I would have seen before, but would not have remembered), and I was taken by how my mind had set the characters as being in this Inn as quickly as driving past it after. Created deja vu within me.

Approaching a door inside a busy well lit building I turned my head a bit to see if anyone was behind me and could see someone behind me out the corner of my eye...a shadowy figure. So I held the door open but no-one was there. A few seconds later a woman that fit the shadow like a piece from a puzzle came walking around the corner. It was as if her shadow was like 5 seconds ahead of her.
