Men don't know what creeps women out until they gamble and probably lose. It's flirting when the guy she's attracted to does it, its creepy harassment when the guy she's not attracted to does it. Why take a chance? (A recent study of a dating site found that women rate 80% of men as below average in unattractiveness.)
