IM NO SCIENTIST, ALTHOUGH I WOULD SAY IT'S BECAUSE EVEN WHEN IN THE WOMB, AT ONE STAGE I THINK WE DONT HAVE A DEFINITE GENDER SO I WOULD SAY WHEN WE'RE LITTLE, WE STILL DONT PRODUCE ENOUGH HORMONES TO LOOK LIKE EITHER OR, AND AFTER PUBERTY WHEN MORE HORMONES ARE PRODUCED, THAT'S WHEN YOU CAN TELL A LIL MORE. ALSO, ONE COULD ALSO SAY THEY LOOK ANDROGINOUS OR HOWEVER YOU SPELL THAT, IT'S NOT DEFINED YET.

That's possibly the best proof that gender (or maybe even sex) isn't (strictly) binary.

@TurtlePink you can simply refer to him as he until/unless he asks for something different and then respect that.

@NerdyPotato lol no. I’m saying sex and gender confuses me because I never know which one to use. Like in general.

@TurtlePink ah! Well, in medical situations it's important to mention both. Otherwise the gender will usually suffice.

A lot of boys come out looking like their moms, while girls come out looking like their dads. Lol
