Do you get over people and things quickly? I do now, when I was younger it took me years to move on now I'm a bit numb from all the hurt I had so

being hurt a lot paid off I'm too numb to get hurt again.

Personally, being numbed out, beaten up overtime, and then expected to just be ‘positive’ and open to people again in a flash, forget about it. In my mind, that’s next to trying to run as fast you can to see if you can fly over the chasm in between two cliffs. In my own life, this has never worked, lol.

@AltDel777 Hey not sure why I didn’t respond to the first part but lemme add to this for it to make more sense:

As for people, It depends on who they were and their purpose in my life I guess. The hard hitters lingered around the most, some still do. The others were a passing phase and faded away better.

Things. Sadly those I’ve been able to attach to the most over people- fun psychology there 🙃But ya know, shit happens, different experiences have shown me different things and it changed me overtime. Still changing…

yes and no.
Relationship wise, when it ends I am over it pretty fast now.
Someone hurts anyone I care about, I dont get over it and hold grudges.

basically when it comes to myself, I get over things pretty fast. When it concerns my loved ones, I wont ever truly get over it

You asked earlier "Why do you think you are still single?"

This might be the reason why in your case you have your barriers up and are not letting anyone in.

{@witchthatwantsfun] 😣no i still have ghost from many years ago that still haunt me
I don’t. I don’t let much in but when I do I mean it and I invest myself.
Same here. I guess it’s the reason why I’m so masochistic.

All depends who you meet and what kind of connection you had
