I don't know what's going on in my head

Lately when I look at myself in the mirror I see my ex. I don't like him like that anymore so it's confusing me. He's someone I just don't want in my memory let alone see when I look at myself

It might be that you have unresolved issues within your own mind, regarding the ex. I have those. I don't SEE him in the mirror, but I have upsetting dreams at times, and the ex is always the reason I am upset...mainly because, in the dreams, he is behaving kindly or as a close companion, and not as the monstrous thing he eventually became.

My waking mind doesn't really think about him at all, but once in a while my subconscious sneaks into my dreams and tries to work out the Jekyll and Hyde dichotomy.

@4meAndyou I've talked to the guy like three years after the breakup for months. I believe whatever issues I have with him are resolved now. I haven't dated anyone since him because I realized that single life made me happy which is why I'm confused by what's happening

@karysma I believed, also, that my issues with the ex had been resolved, but it's not always as simple as that.
