Why do people trust people?

Okay so this is a debate I always have with myself. I mean I don't even trust my decision making most of the time, why would I trust another human being that wants one thing one minute and another the next. It's just a recipe for disaster. I don't want to hear anyone say I got trust issues. I'm just smart enough not to put my trust in humans. You should too.
