@Milkshake So you're saying you're confused? Alright let me explain it to you in a way that's abit more simple, so you understand. During WW2 most countries were in a state of 'Total War' which led to 60 million deaths. Maps were redrawn, countries made and unmade and so on which means meant that at the time the future of mankind would have looked very bleak. Now!!! At the moment we all have nukes which makes it unlikely for the great powers to ever be in a state of total war with each other ever again, no we'd much rather have our smaller allies kill each other on our behalf. Our only real problem is what we're doing to the planet which can be dealt with a HELL of alot easier methods then trading the lives of 60 million people to birth the modern world. A modern world where we no longer fight such large scale conflicts because we're all in possession of nuclear arms.
