Does where you live have many heat waves?

Australia is having another heatwave.
Yesterday many centers reached 47/48 C. Fruit Orchards are being decimated because the fruit is being either cooked from the inside out or are being severely burnt on the vine by the continued exposure to intense sunshine.
Today temperatures in some areas are expected to reach 50 C.
There will be many millions of Air Conditioners running for extended periods of time. Road bitumen will melt. Railway tracks will buckle. Power Stations will become overloaded and shut down. 100's of 1000's of Native animals will die from heat stress. Wild Fires will decimate forests and communities.
A rosy future to look forward to indeed

That's awful! I hope you stay safe. I used to live in Phoenix Arizona where the temperatures would be well above 115 in the summer for weeks on end. Can be extremely dangerous.
