I was born on a farm...later lived on a rural acreage. When we’d have too many green beans or whatever in our garden would call up people and ask if they wanted the surplus...they’d always say “Are they picked?”...stopped asking. We tilled the soil, planted the seeds, hoed the plants & made sure they had plenty of water & then no one wants to pick the veggies.

@MellyMel22 this was in the 1960’s...so many people are too lazy to cook from scratch that many wouldn’t even take veggies if it was delivered to them.

I had one like that in elementary school and he lived not far and I realized that when I went roller blading down this crazy long hill of a street that he lived on. He was chasing me telling me he loved me. I was so creeped out I flew down that hill faster than I prob ever went down it. I was so lucky I didn’t fall or slam into a moving car 😂[/c][/i]

@MellyMel22 I think the worst thing is I probably do see the signs. They're actually obvious when you look back. I still ignore them though...

That's probably the real issue. I haven't got the willpower to take notice of the signs until they really get to me...
