Is love real or facade?

I think it's whatever it is to YOU as it is to every other 'You'. Love is a personal issue, love isn't always seen or recognised by some people. For those who say love is certainly real, there is the issue of what a person perceives love to be. I've met couples in my life who swore never ending love, only to see them part ways further down the line. I've met others who declare how madly in love they are when [i]some[/i] things they do would fall well short of them being a [i]loving couple[/i]

Love is subjective as it is surreal, in some cases. There's no real definitive way to decide if love IS love, there's no measure which everyone can stand by which might declare they are in love whilst there are those who appear to go through life with not a romantic bone in their body and STILL have a great relationship

Love is real but often people do not know whether what they're feeling is love or a derivative of their own need somehow manifested by certain characteristics in someone they try to mold.

Well, I think there is no real love in this world. Everything is temporary and everything change. With time everything change.The only real love I beleive in is the love between God and his creation.

love is real.. just some people are incapable of loving. they dont know how to. i feel sorry for them. we grow up in society that is now based on hook ups. they never take the time to really get to know a person. if you see how people behave towards the opposite sex there is no real respect.. it became all about lusts. so they never get to experience real love. it seems to be all instant gratification. thats why those who say love isnt real or is just a chemical in the brain believe what they do or have been hurt in the past by someone or someones so they just say its not real because they arent in a loving relationship with a person. even if you have trouble with a S.O. you still have love for family or a pet or friend.. you still know what love is. so for those who say its a facade are just not very smart or are just jaded.

"Love" is just a temporary feeling of infatuation one feels for another. It may last a some time, years even. But it doesn't last forever, one gets over it eventually.
