Well, I think there is no real love in this world. Everything is temporary and everything change. With time everything change.The only real love I beleive in is the love between God and his creation.

@deevan11 I think love does exist, as much as I think that it seems to be harder to find as we continue to evolve. Love found in God (a spiritual love) might indicate that not all is lost and be a definite saving grace (or a literal saving grace) for many.

@Justbychance yes it is. Better to read the mathnavi in its original language. Translation doesnt do good to masnavi. Its real essence is in the original language.
