Wow...hard choice. Both together...they go hand-in-hand in my view.
Arrogance. 'Ignorance' is circumstantial. 'Arrogance' is personal.

Ignorance is a lack of knowledge on a topic... We are all ignorant in some things and it's easily fixed by learning .. arrogance on the other hand is a character flaw and not easily remedied
CaptainCanadia · 41-45, M
Arrogance because it's putting yourself over others. Ignorance is also easier to cure.
The combination of the both is fucking intolerable though.

Ignorance easily. If more people would evolve, this world would be a much better place to live in.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@Peaceful So very true.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
Arrogance. Sometimes ignorance can't be helped.

We can all be ignorant, start off this way. But arrogance is a special kind of ignorance, the worst
Arrogance !00% as we are all ignorant of something without it being our fault. ignorance can be bliss sometimes but arrogance is never a good trait.
DanielChristensen · 46-50, M
The former, but considering ones self superior to others is a form of ignorance. I think it's more important to be kind than smart
Nat15 · F
Arrogance. Most people who have it never lose it.
Ignorance is just not knowing, and you can always learn.

Arrogance. One isn't always to blame for ignorance. One is ALWAYS to blame for arrogance...

Arrogance.
Can't we all be a little ignorant until we learn otherwise..?

Arrogance all the way cause it makes you an ignorant person
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
Arrogance. I feel ignorance can be corrected with education.
SW-User
When it is mixed together it is the worst thing ever
booboo · M
arrogance....ignorance sometimes can't be helped
bijouxbroussard · F
The former. Ignorance is mostly "doesn't know". Arrogance is more like, "doesn't know and doesn't care to know".
SW-User
If I'm being honest, I tend to go with ignorance. Arrogance is one of my failings, and I try to keep it in check, but I'd much rather surround myself with arrogance than ignorance. What about you?
WanderLustChick · 36-40, F
@SW-User it's really a hard choice. For me it depends on the environment for example sometimes arrogance can show extreme confidence in what your doing but even with that being over confident can cause you to make a mistakes. Now ignorance can be remedied but some don't care about their own ignorance and make no attempts to make changes and kind of skate by. And unfortunately if the ignorant person is needed let's say to assist and they can't they prevent the goal from being met. It's really no winner on which one bothers me the most. FYI I'm applying this to nursing
SW-User
@WanderLustChick I think you hit it on the nose, environment plays a big part in determining which is more annoying or, in your application of it, which is more dangerous.
muffinman · 61-69, M
arrogance … ignorance is not having certain data … arrogance is thinking everyone else is below your standards, now that you have acquired certain data.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
I find they go together usually. The most ignorant people think they are good so they are arrogant; they are ignorant of their own ignorance :P
SW-User
arrogance. although like okaybut said, the ignorant are often the most arrogant...
wunderluv · 51-55, M
I was going to say arrogance, but in my if a person is ignorant unfortunately it tends to affect most of not all aspects of the afflected person's life and it is inappropriately welded together with a perverse and undue self-confidence said person holds fast to in their opinions, observations of life and their stupid conclusions
Tatsumi · 31-35, M
Arrogance. Ignorance can be cured. Arrogance can't.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
Tough one, depends on the degree of each.
ButchersGeneral · 36-40, M
Sometimes it's the former and others the latter.
SW-User
Would have to say arrogance
