If you would find out that you are serious sick, would you want close people to stay close to you or you would want them to push away?

I had a tumour scare with my stomach ulcer which turned out all clear, but while I was going through that, along with a fucked up premonition I had about my fate last year which ended up wrong anyway, I kept myself distant and I was pushing my loved ones away, even friends. I even carried that behaviour here. I guess I did it one because I have a problem with showing my vulnerabilty, I hate asking for help, and I guess I didn't want anyone to be too upset if the inevitable did happen to me.

I'd want them to be close to me but I'd be sensitive to how they are handling the situation.. For myself I would previde for having private conversations with all but especially with any lives ones I have concerns about how they are coping.. Serious illness is exactly that SERIOUS.. I would also ask for lots of prayer.. I absolutely believe in the power of prayer all through such times! Remember miracles do happen and fact are multiplying and will continue to grow in our time, NOW

Depend how your illness makes you feel i guess.
Sometimes pain and discomfort can make you wish you were just dealing with that one issue. If you know folk are coming by that can add headach to an already difficult time

If I knew I was for sure going to die I wouldn't want people I care about to have to just wait around and watching me die

depends on my sickness, if it dangerous for them then better they are away.

However, i will prefer only by better half to be besides me like i would be besides her in such case.

I'd probably push people away in that situation.
