I’ve never seen this before, but it’s a cool idea…

This rescue has volunteers sleeping with the rescued pets (mostly dogs, it appears) providing comfort and keeping them calm at night. Someone commented that the atmosphere is much more cheerful than in most shelters. Do you think you could do this, volunteer to cuddle with rescued pets ?

This as well as foster situations could help. Yet it's a much bigger issue than just both together even.

The problem again boils down to economics.

Did you know the sleeping in a commercial setting is not legal? 🤷🏻‍♂

These shelters are considered commercial settings.

I want to say I could do it, but id probably get too emotionally involved to where I'll myself need someone to come lay down with me.
Those people and people who do this are true heroes.
