Two nights in a row this absolute menace has covered my pillows in her spit and rubbed herself in it

Maple opossum is adorable. 🥰

But yeah, kind of typical for four-legged creatures to do things like that.

She is happy because if not for living in a human house, she would be out there foraging for mice to eat.

So where there is an opposum living in the house, do they typically act more like cats or dogs or...? Active or relaxed?

@HoeBag she doesn’t really act like a dog or a cat. Maybe closer to a cat, in that she doesn’t want much attention. She likes cuddling and eating.
She likes to explore and walk on her exercise wheel at night, but she’s always pretty slow moving.

@itsok They are not particularly fast nor aggressive.

I would love to have one as a pet. Reason I don't though, I am not good with responsibility and I know animals can be some.

I have a couple that hang out in the back yard at night when it is not too cold, I just feed them and let them be in the wild.
