We have a hedgehog. Actually we saw two

It freaked me out initially coz it was making a piggy sound and we were like wtf is that noise
I thought it was a dying squirrel coz it was dark and it looked grey
Anyway we got torches out and it was two bastarding hedgehogs being silly 馃槄馃槄

I did notice hedgehog poo in the garden for weeks and thought maybe it's not hedgehog poo 馃拃but it was 馃グ馃グ

Weird how we get hedgehogs in NZ but not in Australia well not where I live. They are considered a pest in NZ. Another import from the UK. LOL
@KiwiBird I believe that the Romanys (Romanies?) roll them in clay and bake them; the quills come off in the hardened clay.

I'm not recommending you try this at home!

@Gangstress Yep, I've heard those noises and they're funny as hell.....once you realise what they are 馃槀馃槀馃槀
They're usually quite shy - but I guess Spring is in the air! 馃槀馃Λ

I almost forgot my British English.

At first I imaged you holding lit oil-soaked firebrands, like ancient cave ladies.
