Been A Long Time Now

I've never been one of those 'gym class' girls, however I did that stuff at school. Sure, I enjoyed that then but was made to do it. Come adulthood and leaving school meant to me that I could do what I liked.

Which meant...

Doing stuff with my bestie...or....on my own.

She ran a lot, so I did that too. She did - and still does - a lot of martial arts. Whilst that was ok for a while, it wasn't me really.

I continued with running, between 5-10k alternate days, until it got a little old.

I was steered into some of the online Yoga classes as something more interesting to do, and 10 years on, I do them still.

I tend to do more Vinyasa style yoga, which flows really well and is quite the cardio workout. The classes that I do tend to be around 40-60 minutes in duration.

I also do Kundalini style yoga, which is a little more combination of the physical movements and the more spiritual aspects. Again, around 40 minutes usually leaves me spent.

I'll tend to wake up, first thing, have a coffee then a big glass of water, and do my session. Then breakfast and shower afterwards.

It all helps to centre my mind and my spirit for the day ahead.
