Yoga is addictive isn’t it?

Finding yoga years ago has probably been one of the greatest things for me. It is much more a mental thing for me and has helped in so many ways. Obviously there are amazing physical benefits to it as well but the mindfulness of it all is so empowering and wonderful

What were you looking for when you found it? How did you find it?

I am not addicted to yoga but I like doing yoga from time to time. I like how practical it is. It is sad so many adults over 35, mostly men, can't touch their toes with their legs straight while sitting or can't hold their hands behind their backs with their arms outstretched. It is not good to be middle aged and have such a limited range of motion

I love the hip flexor stretches the most like butterfly stretch. Sometime I use a long stick to push my knees down further--can't get them to the floor and I can't put my chest on the floor in that stretch.

If by mindness you mean relaxing--I dig that too--like to listen to jazz music sometimes while doing it. I am not able to connect with the spiritual aspect of that . i just don't have a spiritual side.

@robertsnj I was primarily looking to improve my flexibility but quickly found the other benefits like core strength building, balance and the mental clarity it helped to teach
