Oh yes I did

I just got back from a yoga class. It's the second one I've been to since covid and boy did I miss them. Anyone who thinks yoga is "unmanly" or some such bullshit is an willfully stupid. It is a good workout that can also calm one's mind down, with the right teacher, of course. Mine rocks. Ok, carry on with your day. I've said what I wanted to say.

I like doing some quick 10 minute yoga stretches sometimes, etc because it sometimes helps quiet my thoughts and body stress and tension if I have a long busy crappy day. I used to go for a jog or a walk. But sometimes the jog wouldn't do enough, I'd still be wound up unless I overdid it and then I'd want to crash which wasn't helpful at all...and a walk was too slow and I'd just get caught up.in my thoughts. Yoga you have to both slow down and pay attention to what you are doing and its enough of a workout to get endorphins flowing and there is something nice about that.

Yoga is much more difficult than it looks, it's a lot of core work.
