Rwo days ago, while at the bus stop, I had an interesting conversation with an older kady. We fot to talking about where something was licated, and then we got to talking about cardinal directions. She said she always gets the North, South, East, and West mixed up. Then, out of nowhere, I told her that ince you establish where north is, everything else is a piece of cake. Your left side will be facing west, and that's easy to remember : W-e-s-t, L-e-f-t.
Later on, this got me to rhinkung, while I'm on my little walks back and forth to the bus, I should start rolling stuff like that, colors used on a map, and the five primary item every map should have on it, and quiz myself on it until it becomes second nature to me.
