This was a good morning.

I walked a mile today. I know that is not really very far, but it was better than nothing. :-)

I've done this a few times this summer and it hasn't been too hard. However, last week I had a 48-hour period where my blood pressure was 180/110. My blood pressure is usually around 110/65. After that it was more difficult for me to breathe and my edema was worse.

Today, my blood pressure was good and my heart rate was only 77( instead of 85-100), so I decided it was probably safe to walk today. I usually walk a 22-minute mile, but I think I was a little slower today. Still, it felt good and the walk caused me to try to breathe deeper. I think this helped. 😊

Today, I have done at least one positive thing, so I am less depressed today. It might be a good day! 😃
