Morning Walk
Again, did an eight mile walk to get my fix of nicotine .
This is my forth walk since my first post on walking.
Started approximately 10:am, with nice and cool tradwinds but ended with brutal heat as I started home which took me approximately a little over three hours (first, four hours).
Saw a couple of construction men reinforcing the gates to keep people from entering the work subdivision on my return.
They were building an eight foot wood fence supporting the gate that keeps people out of the subdivison area with posted signs.
One said I'm not allowed to pass I said, "could I pass it'd save me about two miles.".
He sized me up and could see I was perspiring from head to toe tired and old..lol.
Also said the other gate was already done and blocked I said, I'll squeeze through to which he let me pass but it would be my last.
Will I honor his words and keep mine....yes.
Nowdays they're security camera's all over the place as one of my night walks found myself at the construction site office and backed out. Which could be the reasoning behind reinforcing the gates.
Upon arriving home
This time I noticed something was different with my body from the waist down.
My leg muscles were fine, but when I got home felt my joints from waist down were somewhat stressed.
Glad even as I'm writing this that the aches are subsiding without taking pain relievers.
At 73, when people ask about my health I'll say, " No aches, no pains and no broken bones" which many can't say, I am blessed!
