Walked a lot yesterday

Went to the bank first to cash my GST cheque and then after a little took off to the cannabis store, got 30 dollars worth of gummies, strong suckers they are, each package containing just one gummy but they pack a punch they sure do, might cut them in half at least for further enjoyment.

Haven't had it confirmed yet, but dad is supposed to be back today, should know soon.

I keep hearing the squeaking of a mouse, we have many of them, I shrieked a few times last night while going to and fro from bed to fridge and washroom, seeing them scurry around. When me and dad go to his doctor I must ask about whether mice in the house is putting his health at risk.

My readers here must also know that since always dad doesn't want anyone coming inside because it's a mess here, and he's convinced we'd be evicted if anyone saw the state of it all, so that is why he spends a cumulative fortune on mouse traps and not on a goddamned pest control professional like Jeffrey Beaumont in Blue Velvet at Dorothy Valens place.

And with 10 dollars to spend on eBooks I got a couple Edward Lee, a splatterpunk legend a nice lady booktuber is a big fan of his, been watching some of her videos and so I went for his famous Bighead novel, and The Ushers, a short story collection, I love short story collections in the horror genre. Then on sale The Weird was gotten, I have the big honking paperback which by reading is the surest way to carpal tunnel syndrome, in e version I should be spared such a dastardly fate.

But with that kind of goofy extreme horror what is ever so nice is some classics, so i've been basking in the sunshine of 19th century sensationalist literature with Wilkie Collins' The Woman in White, I've read the beginning like 10 times and only now am I understanding what's going on, this Italian dude almost drowns and the narrator of the first part saves him, and as a thanks the Italian gets him a sweet job in the country, but he's not too thrilled, and the night before he's to go, he meets the titular character who suddenly appears on the road he's walking on at 1 in the morning, CREEPY stuff I say!!

Since posting this dad called, he's still waiting and he gave the encouraging update that he still has trouble breathing when lying down!!

I forgot to mention in my recent updates here that I gave myself a buzz cut, and am sporting a goatee. When walking in the wind my long hair would have been annoying as all get out.

I cut up a bunch of the gummies into quarters, so they should last longer, and I won't be too out of it, just a gentle buzz is all I need, and it helps me sleep.

HE's COMING HOME!!!
