I found this poor guy on my walk. I knew he wouldn't make it so I took him for one last joy ride.
He flew onto me and he liked my onyx fox. He was my beautiful necklace for a bit.
Then crawled up my face and cruised on my head until we got to the big toad puddle and I left him there. Cycle of life, but I try to respect all creatures.

Some people will be pissed you left him to be eaten.
But, otherwise he'd be organic dust for rollypollies and worms to consume. Some toad might as well get his 6 calories stored for winter hibernation! 🤷🏻♂️

@KneAuxBody I couldn't of saved him. I could of prolonged his life in captivity, but that seems more inhumane than letting the cycle of life take its course. I try to let wild things be wild 🖤
@SW-User Being a butterfly, it was already at the end of it's life cycle. There is absolutely nothing you could have done. It best to leave her where she belongs.
