My Childhood Home of Nature

This was one of my favorite places in the whole world as a child. I spent many a day playing and growing up here. My grandfather used to own this farm until he passed a few years ago. My uncle took it over and just let it go so to speak. It’s too much for him to handle evidently. But, I went today and looked around , thought I would take a few pics. It felt good to be here…..the nostalgia was amazing. Being out in nature today , made me realize how precious life is. 🌳🍁🍂🍄🍃❤️

It's precious to think of you playing out there as a little girl. Even though the place has run down, the old and rustic nostalgia makes it more beautiful to me. It gives it depth and adds to those memories. That aside, the pieces of nature you shared, have a very calming effect (said by a girl who hates this season) so I can see how you felt so peaceful and grateful for life. I'm happy you got out and made the best of the day, but especially that today's venture brought out the best in you, sis...🍁🌾🍂

@MoonlightLullaby I could hear the talking and laughter from the past as I was standing on that bridge. I fished off that bridge with my dad and papaw, I waded and swam in the creek catching crawdads and water snakes!! I swam in that deeper hole where you see the reflection of the trees. I did so much there as a child. I still remember it as it once was. But, the here and now have kinda taken its toll. I will forever love this farm and how it shaped me to be one with nature and love it so much!! 😉🌳🍁🍂 I’m going back in the spring….so, expect your fave season to be captured and posted here!! Many an Easter was spent here hunting Easter eggs!! I’m glad that this made you feel good!! 🤗

I love having old reveries whispering in my ear and playing in my head of days gone by. One thing about nostalgia though, it's sure can be bittersweet. I'm glad it had a positive effect on you.😉🙏💖
