Do you enjoy working out at the gym when it's peak time or when you're almost by yourself?

I know some people enjoy the loudness of a full packed gym. It increases their adrenaline. Others like it coz it's a chance to show their bodies in the mirror or their weight lifting progress. And I've known a few who just like to "watch and judge" 😒
I personally like it in the slower times, sometimes just two or three people. Especially when I haven't been working out for a while and just coming back and you're like crawling off after a few bodyweight exercises 🤭🤭🤭 or it takes a lot longer to finish sets on the machines 😅

I don't have much of a preference. I often workout with my boyfriend or a close friend, and when I do, I'm not really paying attention to anyone but them and myself. I just don't want it to be so packed that there are no machines available. I've never been too self-conscious about working out, and when I am alone, I have earbuds in and I'm too focused on what I'm doing and what I'm listening to to care about whoever's around me. If someone wants to look at me admirably, well, that's just a bonus 😅
