Do you enjoy working out at the gym when it's peak time or when you're almost by yourself?

I know some people enjoy the loudness of a full packed gym. It increases their adrenaline. Others like it coz it's a chance to show their bodies in the mirror or their weight lifting progress. And I've known a few who just like to "watch and judge" 😒
I personally like it in the slower times, sometimes just two or three people. Especially when I haven't been working out for a while and just coming back and you're like crawling off after a few bodyweight exercises 🤭🤭🤭 or it takes a lot longer to finish sets on the machines 😅

I know what you mean.I prefer going to the gym early morning when there are only a few people, for several reasons: The machines are cleaner ( sweat, you know lol), although there is always a lady cleaning the machine seats and handles intermittently...also, you don't have to wait for your turn at the machines like when it's packed. I also like being alone in the sauna,I find it awkward sharing it with another. Oh, and no oglers too lol.I stopped going to the gym though when Covid broke out and work out at home now and go running in the morning because there's a nice park near my house with a path that's perfect for running and walking because no cars are allowed to circulate within the grounds.

@LilMissAnonyMOUSE I try to go early in the morning as well for the same reasons you mentioned 😅 I used to go mid-day but the showers were .... Mmm you know!
I also tried to workout at home during covid but the routine never really stuck. Sleep won over in the morning since I could always "snooze" the alarm and delay waking up..... And eventually lose the intention 🤭🤭
@KittyKat121 Oh that's true! Go later to the gym and the whole floor of the shower area is all wet and some of the benches where the lockers are are damp 🤦‍♀ I have days too when I don't feel motivated to workout but the days start pilling up and I feel guilty lol...so I just tell myself ''Just do it and get it over with'' and later, I feel proud of having exercised and battled my procrastination and laziness...plus, our body really benefits from it healthwise ☺

@LilMissAnonyMOUSE True, we are so alike😂 I try to put a mental alarm on how many days I decide to skip because it tends to become permanent and I have to start all over again. There are days I leave proud and amped up after a workout and days (when I tell myself I'm too tired to go) I leave almost half dead 🤭🤭🤭
@KittyKat121 ☺👍 My mental alarm is as loud as my fitness watch, both yelling at me to move my butt 😂That amped up feeling afterwards feels good, the adrenalin is pumping...but yeah, later we're half dead lol🤣
